The dog training is going great.  Waters are ice free in my part of Maine.  Heidi is working off her post sea duck season winter weight.  She has already lost 3 of the 7 lbs she gained.  I found a tick on myself  April 12th.  So Heidi is wearing her frontline.  I have not had the chance to get on the spring salmon troll up here in Maine yet this season.  It looks like I may just miss out until the second full week of May.  Turkey season starts 4-28 for even birth year hunters, and on Cinco de Mayo for odd birth year hunters.  So I am going afer Maine longbeards instead of Maine salmon.
